On-piste rescue services
As a reminder, Social Security does not cover on-piste rescue costs or ambulance fees.
Only certain insurance policies and health plans cover rescue and evacuation costs associated with a skiing accident.

Ski insurance
When purchasing your ski pass online or at the ticket office, you can opt for ski insurance at €3.60 per day.
Ski insurance covers the full cost of on-piste rescue, whereas ambulance evacuation costs are covered only up to €500.
